The **Adler Pelzer Group** is a worldwide leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of acoustic and thermal components and systems for the automotive sector. With more than 15,000 employees and approximately 100 manufacturing and R&D facilities, we deliver to all major car brands globally.
We are looking for an Operations Director (COO) who will be in charge of four production sites in North Italy. Must be located near to one of the sites ((Santhià, Desio, Pianfei, Virle) and willing to travel across this territory.
Main tasks:
- Lead the Operations performance in four smaller plants in the perimeter (P&L, quality, customer interaction, supply chain, Health & Safety, ).
- Lead plant industrial activities related to transfers, new programs to ensure future performance and optimize.
- Lead strategic and budget activities to ensure future sustainable performance and plants competitiveness.
- Lead identification, definition and coordination of main improvement priorities to secure budget achievements (productivity, processes improvement, standardization, ).
- Hierarchical management of plant managers and animate operations management teams.
- Ensure efficient collaboration with Group / Region departments to reach needed performance.
**Requirements**:
- Strong production operations management background including management of multiple plants and ability to relate to staff at shopfloor and in production management.
- Understanding of Cost of Sales/Profit and Losses.
- Significant Automotive T1 supplier environment experience, knowledge of Automotive industry standards and regulation.
- Strong customer relations experience and ability to interact with unions.
- Fluent English.
- Ability to liaise across all corporate levels from production shopfloor to C-level negotiations.
- University degree in technical-related discipline or equivalent.
