Our Client is a global player specialized in the production of components for the automotive industry.**Role**:
The Head o Production Departmentes will oversee all manufacturing processes in the supervised departments and will be responsible for the smooth operation of all production lines and the quality output.
Th role will direct the personnel towards maximum performance thanks to the deep know-how of processes and procedures and will ensure an efficient, productive and reliable manufacturing process together with the team.
Main responsibilities:
- Define the operational activities and set the goals;
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business;
- Evaluate efficiency and process technologies, make recommendations on technological solutions;
- Coordinate with sales, engineering and other departments to further develop markets, products and procedures;
- Promote quality standards and assess overall performance;
- Ensure that the operation meets legal standards and company policy;
- Supervise, appraise and coach staff, train team members;
- Other duties as needed or required.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in technical field (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent);
- Knowledge of Industry-specific regulations (such as IATF 16949, ISO 13485...);
- Knowledge of automation in production processes;
- 5 years’ experience in mass production;
- Manufacturing process (industry-specific);
- 5 years’ experience of leading a team (successful, proven);
- Project management;
- Leadership, organizational skills;
- Knowledge of quality tools like Six Sigma, 5-Why, Ishikawa, FMEA;
- Fluent in English and Italian.
