**JOB OVERVIEW**:

- TE Connectivity's Project Management Teams are responsible for managing the operational aspects of projects from inception through implementation. They coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams and line management. Our Teams review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. They assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget for projects within the assigned business segment
- Lead assigned Core Teams to achieve defined objectives
- Clearly communicate roles, expectations and accountabilities to team members on a regular basis using cross-functional KPI procedure
- Conduct frequent status meetings with the internal project team and internal/external customers
- Deploy use of system tools to ensure Project performance KPI’s goals are met
- Monitor project execution with specific emphasis on providing early warnings to detect, develop and implement corrective action plans where required
- Follow established Stage-Gate processes and assure the integrity of project deliverables including presenting to the Project Approval Committee
- Establish and maintain project baseline schedule with commitment from the Core team and customer on all projects
- Monitor production part approval process and coordinate market introduction according to flawless launch principals
- Set up and co-ordinate design reviews, Design of Experiment (DoE) and continuous improvement activities
- Initiate and maintain project-related Change Management and Risk Management
- Manage interface within the project teams with problem-solving and action-lead approach
- Track project lessons learned and manage best practices

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Graduated in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
- 2 or more years of demonstrated Project Management experience in design & manufacturing, working with internal and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet scope, schedule, and budget required
- Competent presentation soft skills
- Basic SAP knowledge
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated leadership of project teams within a matrix environment is a plus
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and assembly design principles is a plus
- Experience in the Automotive industry is a plus
