IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for a Bioinformatician to join The Experimental Gastroenterology Lab, headed by Dr. Ungaro in the Department of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy.
Our lab focuses on the investigation of the cellular and molecular mechanisms at the basis of the pathogenesis of gastrointestinal diseases, including chronic inflammatory conditions, such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, and cancer.
**Main activities (required)**:
Bulk RNA-seq analysis
Single-cell RNA-seq analysis
Spatial transcriptomics analysis
Not mandatory but appreciated, maintenance of Snakemake pipelines
Knowledge of Bash and at least one programming language among R and Python
A strong background in molecular biology
Enjoy working independently and as part of a team
