We offer a role as **Junior Financial Controller**, who will be part of and provide support to the Finance team in Aliaxis Italy, reporting to the Senior Financial & Operations Controller
Italy.
**The Key Responsibilities can be summarized as follows**:
- Ensure the correctness and timely monthly reporting including P&L, BS and Cash analysis.
- Support to Finance Mgmt in the Budget and Forecast process according with Group instructions
- Work in collaboration with accounting department to check posting’s correctness and including the design of an organizational structure adequate to achieve department's goals and objectives.
- Check and update cost nature and cost center analysis in line with Group policies.
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and a control system over accounting transactions.
- Calculate stock value and obsolescence as per standard costs, analyzing correctness and deviations.
- Support to Operations to check production KPI’s.
- Support for CAPEX business case creation and analysis.
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
- Provide for a system of management cost reports.
- Assist the Finance Director in providing information to external auditors for the annual and quarterly audit.
- Monitor ONCWC performance and Capital Expenditure plan.
**Required Qualifications and Competencies**:
- Degree in Economics/Engineering
- At least 4 years of experience in industrial controlling in multinational companies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Previous experience in Big4 or consultancy/audit firm is a plus.
- Proven business partnering attitude.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proactivity, flexibility, team working, good communication skills and a result-oriented approach are key to the role.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
