**Associate director - Comm & Supply Chain Ops**
POSITION PURPOSE:
As an Associate Director - Commercial & Supply Chain Operations you are accountable for leading all Supply Chain processes, including product forecasting, replenishment, warehousing, and distribution. Further, you are responsible for the Order to Cash process, controls, and work closely together with the GBS Center in Ireland for credit management and collections. You supervise the Italy Supply Chain Team and you and the team are business partnering with the different business units for evaluating and executing commercial strategies that are driving value for Lilly.
POSITION MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
- Own people management responsibilities for the Italy Affiliate supply chain & distribution team including completing performance reviews and development planning
- Implement global distribution initiatives and design a clear “order to cash” strategy for Lilly Italy including effective SOx controls
- Support distribution relationship management and own the Affiliate Distributor Governance framework
- Manage AR and Collection for hospital customers defining strategy and operations (be GBS point of contact for aging analysis; perform bad debt analysis etc.)
- Enable an effective product supply chain including an accurate demand forecasting and successful resolution of various supply issues
- Manage projects as required (e.g. Improve customer facing activities, evaluate queries tracking, etc.)
- Maintain and develop the relationship within Farmindustria
- Supports industry representation & key IQVIA liaison supporting market research and Financial Planning
- Be key partner for business functions on SCM and Customer management topics
- Be key point of contact for O2C Global process owner
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- University degree in Economics, Finance or engineering (MBA is a strong plus)
- 5-7 years’ experience in supply chain and financial analysis consulting in a multinational company (experience abroad is a plus)
- People management experience preferred
- Experience in cross-functional work/projects
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Analytical skills
- Presentation/communication skills

- Ability to deal across cultures
- Detail oriented but still able to see bigger picture
- High level of initiative and willingness to challenge the status quo
