Job Purpose
Responsabilities
Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports compliant with Italian accounting standards, while aligning with EMENA reporting requirements.
Lead the development and management of annual budgets for the Italian operations and provide variance analysis to support regional financial planning.
Manage capital structure, funding strategies, and investment analyses to optimize corporate financing activities.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with all local financial regulations and reporting requirements, including tax obligations.
Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting professional development.
Liaising with external auditors and banks.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred
Minimum of 5 - 6 years of experience in finance, with a strong emphasis on accounting and corporate finance.
Proven experience in the agri trading sector, with an understanding of market dynamics and financial implications.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and reporting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
