The Google Search Ads Strategist will play a key role in defining and executing effective user acquisition and retargeting strategies across the Google Ads platform, keeping an eye on scaling the monthly budgets and yielding a satisfactory ROI.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Create, manage, and scale user acquisition (Google Search) and retargeting campaigns on the Google Ads Platform
- Maintain and monitor keyword bids, monthly budgets, impression share, quality score, and other important account metrics in line with the business goals
- Research, analyze, and test new keywords/setups on an ongoing basis
- Create A/B tests, analyze results and choose the best strategies to attract new users to the Mondly web platform
- Collaborate with Account Managers from Google to understand the latest applicable rules and ensure that our campaigns target the right users through efficient tactics
- Collaborate with Technology and other Marketing specialists for the set-up of new campaigns, events tracking, creation and monitoring of landing pages, conversion rate optimization and other web-related improvements
- Create weekly and monthly performance reports
- Monitor market trends and identify the latest innovations in Google search strategies

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Degree (or equivalent) preferred ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience and demonstrated record of success in building, maintaining & optimizing Google Ads Search campaigns at scale (min. $50k/month)
- Proficient in using web analytics (Google Analytics) and web tracking tools (Google Tag Manager / Google Optimize / Hotjar)
- Good knowledge in CRO and landing page optimization - preferred
- Analytical skills and detail-orientation
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Creative Thinker and Problem Solver
- A strong communicator able to seamlessly collaborate with several different teams
- Robust decision making - based on evidence and data
- Passion for education and learning
- Possesses a global outlook and approach
- Operates as a self-aware, effective team player
- Experience of working and thriving in a global matrix organization is beneficial
- English language is a must, foreign languages a plus
