**Manufacturing and Global Procurement >MED > South Europe** The Safety department ensures compliance with Safety performance and development on site in Taranto, incl. that the management system is used and in compliance with the ISO standards used in Vestas and our Vestas Safety behaviors are implemented and developed. Is is a Team of 5 employees supporting our factory of +700 employees **Responsibilities** - Coordinate the implementation of agreed tasks in the HSE business plan and tasks according to the agreed operational implementation of projects, HSE standards, processes and tools. - Support implementing Global HSE standards, processes, programs and tools based on best practice and customer/business needs. - Monitor status of compliance with the specific HSE standards, processes and tools in the relevant area and continuously identify needed actions for improvement in order to reach the targets at local level for HSE related parts of the business plan - Ensure required HSE reporting and reporting to authorities on environment and Safety. - Monitor activities related to chemical management (Epoxy), environment permits and reporting where directed - Monitor status of compliance with the specific HSE standards and legal compliance, processes and tools at the factory level and continuously identify needed actions for improvement where directed - Coordinate local Incident management process and database - Manage or facilitate Taproot Incident investigations - Ensure knowledge sharing and lessons learned within Vestas in relation to HSE by producing HSE Alerts and other relevant communications - Follows up on procedures for waste management and ensure their compliance (following legal, local and global requirements) - Follows up on procedures for chemical management and ensure their compliance (following legal, local and global requirements) - Supporting TS with Energy management system **Qualifications** - 3+ years of experience in similar position - Master degree on HSE area will be an asset and preferred - Good English & Italian knowldege - Good to high level of knowledge of HSE standards nationally in Italy **Competencies** - Open, inquisitive and keen on learning new material as a person - Willing to discuss ideas and solutions incl. follow through they are implemented correctly **What We Offer** An organisation in growth with focus on supporting the transition towards green energy A very balanced and effective team support each other **About Vestas** Vestas is the energy industry’s global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
