**These are your tasks**
- Management and coordination of the Global Category “Mechanical Components” within Global Sourcing
- Structuring and control of the global sourcing volume as well as design of the sourcing structure for all national and international locations
- Analysis and promotion of synergies within the group
- Management and development of the global supplier pool and key suppliers within the Global Category “Mechanical Components”
- Comprehensive analysis of internal needs and requirements, as well as analysis of procurement markets
- Derivation and implementation of a result-oriented material group strategy with focus on bundling and standardization of global requirements - in close cooperation with the specialist departments and Bartec locations
- Negotiation and conclusion of framework agreements including country-specific implementation
- Monitoring of supplier-related KPIs, preparation of relevant reports, as well as derivation and implementation of supplier development measures
- Objective of this challenging position: long-term and sustainable reduction of purchasing costs (TCO), ensuring delivery quality and optimization of the supplier pool

**Your qualifications**
- Successfully completed business or technical studies or comparable training
- Profound experience in strategic purchasing of mechanical components, especially stamped and bent parts, machined parts, cast and injection-molded parts according to drawings in internationally operating companies
- Experienced in cost analysis, contract design, negotiation techniques and project management
- Structured, goal-oriented way of working
- Convincing in communication with international colleagues and suppliers - written and verbal - business fluent in English, other languages advantageous
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- SAP and/or Infor knowledge is an advantage
- Willingness to international travel
