- British American Tobacco Italy has an exciting opportunity for a Process Analyst Internship in Trieste
- This internship provides hands-on experience in process optimization within a production environment. The intern will contribute to the standardization of operational procedures, analysis of production data, and identification of efficiency losses. The role involves tracking key performance indicators and supporting continuous improvement initiatives through structured methodologies. The experience will also include collaboration on change management activities and process audits.
- Your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the definition of best practices and standard procedures for production activities.
- Collecting, analyzing, and reporting production data, including performance metrics and efficiency losses.
- Monitoring and calculating key indicators such as equipment effectiveness and failure rates.
- Conducting regular process checks and contributing to the implementation of workplace organization standards.
- Assisting in the rollout of improvement initiatives and the adoption of new tools and practices.
- What are we looking for?
- Enrollment in a university program in engineering, statistics, or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical mindset and data processing skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
- Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to manage tasks independently.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude, with fluency in English.
