As a Senior Data Analyst, you will join the Science & Analytics team (20+ people), inside the Data department (50+ people) and you will act as the data partner embedded in the Germany team.
Responsibilities
- You will proactively use data to identify opportunities to grow our product and business, working across product squads and business teams.
- You will be a sparring partner for Product and Business leaders in Germany, feeding their strategy and answering important questions through analysis.
- You will steer decision‑making through rigorous analyses, navigating ambiguity and collaborating across domains when needed.
- You will contribute to our self‑service approach to analytics by understanding partners’ needs and promoting a data‑driven culture. You will contribute directly to data models in the data warehouse using dbt.
- You will contribute to shaping the Data Engineering roadmap to deliver the best experience for colleagues on the data platform.
Expectations
Within one month
- You will learn everything about our company, teams, and vision during the first onboarding week.
- You will familiarise yourself with the stack and deliver small projects to see our tools & processes.
- You will meet stakeholders and gain deep knowledge of the Germany team you support.
Within three months
- You will be fully in charge of supporting the Germany team and prioritising topics with decision makers.
- You will be comfortable with the technical stack (Python, Redshift, dbt, Amplitude).
- You will contribute to larger cross‑company projects.
Within six months
- You will proactively contribute to the team's roadmap.
- You will work with engineers and data practitioners on improving the stack and data platform.
- You will share learnings and best practices within the team.
Who are we looking for?
- Have had previous experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in scale‑up environments (5‑6 years).
- Are seasoned working with SQL, dbt and data visualisation tools.
- Are comfortable collaborating with Product and Engineering Managers, as well as Business partners, beyond the data team.
- Have strong business acumen and are seen as a trusted partner by stakeholders.
- Have strong communication skills and can articulate ideas clearly.
- Have a do‑er attitude and are comfortable with a MVP approach. xbvzest
