Automotive QA / Testing EngineerIMMEDIATE STARTWe are looking for an experienced Automotive QA / Testing Engineer to join our team in Turin, Italy, working on next-generation automotive software validation.Location: Turin, Italy (Hybrid) Contract: Minimum 12-month contractIndustry: Automotive / Software TestingVISA: Work Authority to work in Italy Join Our Automotive Engineering TeamIn this role, you will specialize in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation, vehicle diagnostics, and Over-the-Air (OTA) validation, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure reliable, high-performance vehicle software functions.

Key Responsibilities:Design, set up, and execute automation test cases on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches.Verify diagnostics communications and fault-handling protocols.Validate end-to-end functionality of Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
Create and run complex test configurations, network simulations, and automated test scripts using Vector CANoe.Perform software/firmware flashing validation, update rollback, and recovery testing.Manage software version management and vehicle software integration testing.Collaborate with international engineering teams and local stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:3+ years of experience in automotive software testing.
Core expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, vehicle diagnostics, and OTA validation.Hands-on experience with vector toolchain and test automation.
Proficiency with Automotive Diagnostics & Protocols: UDS (ISO 14229) DoIP (Diagnostics over IP) CAN / CAN-FDComprehensive OTA Validation experience: End-to-End OTA deployment verificationSoftware/firmware flashing validation Update rollback and recovery testingSoftware version management Familiarity with Vector CANoe or similar simulation tools, including: CAPL scripting Diagnostic console configuration Residual bus simulation Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with test bench hardware setup and fault insertion.
Strong background in automated test script development.
