Overview

In this role you will grow Google Cloud Security within Italy by building a robust territory plan, managing the sales cycle from lead to onboarding, and expanding relationships with public sector customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value, forecast progress accurately, and drive adoption of security solutions. This is a mission-driven position focused on shaping security outcomes for government and enterprise clients at scale. You will engage C-level stakeholders and promote Google Cloud’s security capabilities across regions.

Responsabilità
  • Develop and execute a territory development plan to meet quarterly goals
  • Promote Google Cloud security products to new and existing customers
  • Build and drive sales pipelines from lead generation to onboarding
  • Maintain long-term relationships and act as a trusted advisor to accounts
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Engineering, GCP, Customer Success, Channels and Product Engineering to ensure a great customer experience
  • Represent Google Cloud Security in regional forecasts and team meetings; provide timely, accurate forecasting in Salesforce and other tools
  • Lead day-to-day relationships with external stakeholders with empathy and focus on customer success and adoption
  • Partner with internal GCP Sales teams to grow security business and create overall value
  • Advocate for Google products to drive organizational productivity and transformation
Requisiti fondamentali
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of account management experience in enterprise sales
  • 5 years selling to public sector customers in the Italian market
  • 5 years of enterprise security sales experience in Italy
  • Fluent in English and Italian for regional client relationship management
  • Communication and relationship-building at executive levels
  • Empathy and customer-centric mindset
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions (preferred)
  • Knowledge of data and analytics transformation strategies
  • Understanding of the security partner ecosystem
