You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Naval Supply Systems Command of NAVSUP FLC SIG GF, Naples, Italy.
Requirements
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting acquisitions including determining method of procurement and contract type, AND documenting the acquisition strategy, AND preparing solicitations containing appropriate provisions, clauses, terms and conditions that communicate requirements to industry, AND administering contracts to include contract scope determinations, modifications, justifications, approval reviews/fair opportunity evaluations, claims disputes, and contract terminations, AND developing business clearances detailing the pre-negotiation position utilizing audits, technical reports, and cost and/or price analyses; 2) Awarding and administering contracts that support various acquisitions in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
