Ably Resources is supporting a major international energy project with the appointment of an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its team in Milan, Italy.

This is a key engineering role supporting electrical scope across a complex offshore development. The successful candidate will be involved in technical review, vendor package assessment, multidisciplinary coordination, installation support, testing and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing electrical engineering deliverables and technical documentation
  • Supporting electrical systems scope across offshore facilities and associated infrastructure
  • Reviewing vendor packages, specifications and technical submissions
  • Coordinating interfaces with instrumentation, telecoms, process and wider engineering teams
  • Supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities
  • Working with contractors, vendors and project stakeholders to maintain technical quality and delivery alignment
Qualifications
  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in electrical engineering within oil & gas, offshore, EPC or major industrial projects
  • Strong experience across electrical systems within complex project environments
  • Experience reviewing engineering deliverables, vendor packages and technical specifications
  • Testing and commissioning exposure is desirable
  • Fluent written and spoken English
