AI Engineer, Certilogo

As part of Certilogo within Product & Engineering, you will turn AI opportunities into scalable product capabilities for authentication and digital experiences. You’ll design and prototype ML/vision solutions, then productionize them with cross-functional teams. You’ll evaluate new AI approaches and evolve existing capabilities to drive measurable product impact. This Milan-based role offers hybrid work and a chance to shape AI features at scale in ecommerce authentication.

• Translate AI opportunities into measurable product outcomes from framing data to production deployment
• Design, develop and evolve ML and computer vision solutions for authentication and digital product experiences
• Evaluate modern AI approaches including multimodal and foundation models, determining when simpler models are preferable
• Establish robust experimentation, evaluation, and validation practices with meaningful metrics
• Productionize AI components with focus on scalability, latency, reliability, cost, and versioning
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX, Data, and external partners to turn AI capabilities into usable features

• 4+ years hands-on experience designing and deploying ML/DL solutions, incl. computer vision and production systems
• Strong Python skills with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow; able to produce maintainable code
• Proficiency in CV/deep learning techniques (classification, detection, embeddings, anomaly detection)
• Experience with foundation models, multimodal/vision-language or Generative AI; assess accuracy, latency, cost
• Solid data and experimentation skills; SQL and ML libraries familiarity
• MLOps / production AI practices (CI/CD, versioning, containerization, cloud deployment, monitoring)
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to explain AI concepts and trade-offs to stakeholders
• Fluency in English; Italian a plus
