As a Cloud Engineer within Oerlikon’s Corporate Infrastructure Team, you design and evolve global cloud solutions in collaboration with business partners and Architecture. You contribute to a major cloud transformation where cloud becomes the core technology, and you deliver 3rd level support to customers worldwide. You will shape new automated deployments, security topics and cutting-edge services while aligning with external partners to drive digital leadership. This role offers impact, growth, and exposure to state-of-the-art technology in a global setting.

- Contribute to a global cloud transformation project with significant business impact
- Provide 3rd level support to customers worldwide
- Advise on and enhance existing cloud services; define and develop new services (automation, security, advanced tech)
- Collaborate with external partners to align external knowledge with internal needs
- Engage in ongoing corporate IT projects as part of digital transformation path
- Deep DevOps knowledge (Git, IaC, CI/CD)
- Linux knowledge is an advantage
- Practical programming experience (Python and Terraform preferred)
- Experience with AWS and related services (Config, Organizations, CloudFormation StackSets)
- Proficiency with Containers and Kubernetes (ECS, EKS)
- Security services (IAM, GuardDuty, SCP) and Architecture services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing/managing cloud solutions
- High self-inititative and drive to deliver
- Fluent English; German a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Self-motivation and drive
- Clear communication in English
