Serves within the Quality Management Department at U.S. Naval Hospital Naples, Italy, supporting the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Deputy Director through the Quality Manager and designated staff. As a Health Systems Specialist, the MSSP acts as technical advisor to the Privileging Authority, Credentials Committee/Function Chairperson, and assigned providers on all matters related to the Credentialing and Privileging (CP) Program.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized experience
One-year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal Service in acting as technical advisor to the Privileging Authority, Credentials Committee/Function Chairperson, and assigned providers on matters related to the Credentialing and Privileging (CP) Program.
OR
Substitution of education
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
