In this role you will oversee the daily accounting operations for a luxury hospitality brand within the Orient Express portfolio. You will lead internal controls and closing processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. You will coordinate audits, budgeting, and cash flow analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will mentor the accounting team and drive process improvements to safeguard assets and enhance performance. This is an opportunity to shape financial governance for a globally renowned luxury hospitality brand.

- Oversee daily accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, bank reconciliations)
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets
- Review journal entries and financial reports for accuracy
- Lead month-end and year-end closing and prepare statements
- Ensure tax compliance and internal policies
- Coordinate internal and external audits; support budgets and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance
- Supervise and develop accounting staff
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Provide detailed financial analysis to guide management decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–10 years progressive accounting experience including 3 years in a supervisory role
- Hospitality industry experience mandatory
- Good command of English
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting standards
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Advanced Microsoft Excel; knowledge of USUALI
