DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager motivated to grow in an innovative environment, developing solid expertise in the coordination and delivery of data-driven initiatives and technology projects.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of complex data engineering projects: from translating technical requirements into actionable WBS to defining project roadmaps, managing scope, and overseeing the contractual phases.
- Proactively monitor project health: tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, and implementing timely mitigations or escalations to safeguard business outcomes.
- Oversee project budget and resource management: tracking financial expenditures and optimizing team allocation to ensure projects are delivered efficiently within the established financial framework.
- Act as the primary interface for all project stakeholders: facilitating seamless communication and alignment between the internal team (Technical Leaders, Analysts, Engineers) and external parties, including clients, support groups, and third-party providers.
- Manage the continuous delivery of the project stream: serving as the main point of contact for the client, leading periodic progress meetings (SAL), and ensuring transparent reporting to cultivate a strong, long-term partnership.
- Oversee AMS activities and Service Management: ensuring full alignment with defined SLA targets, governing the scope of support services, and coordinating the resolution of critical incidents and emergency escalations to maintain system stability and business continuity.
- Foster technical and process innovation: identifying and proposing solutions aligned with the latest trends in Data Engineering and Analytics to enhance overall delivery efficiency.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related data-centric disciplines. (Minimum grade: 100/110).
- Experience: At least 1.5 years of proven experience in Project Management, IT Governance, Technical Team Leading, or similar roles within complex technology environments.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
- Methodological Proficiency: Solid understanding of project management frameworks, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models.
- Operational Tooling: Proficiency in project management and collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Planner, ServiceNow, Confluence).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to risk and issue management.
- Tech-Driven Curiosity: Genuine interest in deepening technical knowledge and understanding complex IT ecosystems.
NICE TO HAVE
- Domain Expertise: Proven experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Software Delivery projects. Exposure to the Banking & Finance sector is considered a significant plus.
- Certifications: Professional Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, PSM).
- Technical Familiarity: Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and fundamental data processing/architecture concepts (e.g., ETL, Cloud storage, SQL).
