Overview:

We are seeking a motivated intern to support our cost reduction initiatives, focusing primarily on idea generation and the early evaluation phases. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to generate and evaluate technical cost reduction ideas
  • Analyze supplier proposals, specifications, and technical data to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare and distribute RFIs (Requests for Information) to gather preliminary information on potential cost reduction solutions
  • Maintain alignment with Sourcing Areas on Should Cost projects and supplier communications
  • Support cross-functional communication among teams working on key projects
  • Track cost reduction initiatives and prepare documentation for handover to execution teams
  • Update relevant stakeholders on cost targets and potential opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of the company's overall cost reduction strategy

EDUCATION & SKILLS

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and xbvzest attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced BI systems is a plus
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
  • English fluency is a must
