About the Team
You will work in the Turbomachinery Technology Lab (TTL) part of the Innovation organization in the Industrial & Energy Technology business (IET). You will head up validation test projects for product development programs, support Service/Production Testing needs. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, service, production, and metrology departments, as well as with external stakeholders such as testing institutions and universities.
Responsibilities- Coordinate internal and external teams (including external partners and/or laboratories) across the full test cycle (from preliminary estimations through design, installation, and commissioning, to test execution and disassembly);
- Act as the main technical interface between the TTL team and all the functions involved in the project, ensuring to meet the test requirements and driving the team until the test project completion;
- Create cost estimation and time schedule for validation activities in collaboration with the project team;
- Be the focal point for design and construction of test facilities, measuring systems and test execution;
- HSE is consistently prioritized throughout the entire project execution.
- Hold an MSc degree in Engineering (preferably in industrial disciplines such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Energy, Electrical, or Naval Engineering), or have proven experience in these fields;
- Have 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment (preferably in power generation, turbomachinery, power plants, oil and gas, or rotating equipment);
- Have experience with new products/new technologies verification testing;
- Have exposure to electrical, mechanical and thermodynamics quantities measure principles;
- Have exposure to turbomachinery fundamentals and be able to understand thermodynamic and fluid dynamics principles and applied to turbomachinery performances;
- Have a good ability to understand engineering drawings, specifications, P&ID and wiring diagram;
- Demonstrate good communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams within a matrix environment;
- Strong decision-making capability, organizational and time management skills;
- Be able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills along with interpersonal and leadership skills.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,200 To 59,400.
The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. xbvzest Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
Trienghe internal title for this role is: Lead Engineer, Systems, Testing and Qualification.
