Your role

As Product Specialist, you will be responsible for scientific information activities in your assigned territory, in line with Italian Legislative Decree 219/06. You will manage the territorial business plan and build strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, supporting the best possible management of patients in dermatology.

Working closely with your Sales Coordinator, MSL and other cross-functional colleagues, you will ensure that scientific engagement, account planning and field execution are aligned with business priorities and patient needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Carrying out scientific information activities with hospital physicians through visits and interviews, building partnerships focused on dermatology patient care.

Developing customer relationships through communication centred on patient needs, using company-approved materials and digital tools.

Ensuring correct and effective execution of action plans for selected accounts in your territory.

Collecting, analysing and understanding relevant insights from account stakeholders to support patient needs and competitive intelligence.

Collaborating with your manager, MSL and other colleagues to suggest and implement projects and initiatives for your reference accounts.

You will also identify key medical stakeholders, particularly hospital specialists, and use LEO Pharma tools such as Veeva to improve the quality and relevance of scientific information activities. In line with patient therapeutic needs, you will also monitor product availability in hospital and local pharmacies where relevant, and inform pharmacists about the therapeutic value of LEO Pharma’s solutions.

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

A degree in scientific subjects, in line with the requirements for scientific information activities in the pharmaceutical industry.

Experience in a similar role within pharmaceutical companies.

Strong scientific knowledge of the relevant medicines and therapeutic area.

Good knowledge of digital and IT tools, including systems used to support field activity and account management.

Business insight, customer focus and the ability to plan, align and drive results in your assigned territory.

You will join the Core Products team in Italy as part of the Sales & Account Management organization. You will report to the Sales Coordinator and work closely with internal partners including Medical, Marketing, Finance, Access and Commercial Excellence.

Your role will place you at the centre of collaboration between field execution, scientific engagement and account planning, with a shared focus on supporting better dermatology care.
