TXT e-Tech
, part of the TXT Group, is looking for a
Software Engineer
to join its
Aerospace & Defence
division. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of embedded avionics software for a sixth-generation fighter aircraft, working in an international, highly technological and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Model-Based (MB) methodologies and, in particular, knowledge of the Mathworks suite (Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coders).

Main responsibilities
:

  • Functional and architectural modelling using a model-based approach;
  • Definition and maintenance of software specifications and interfaces between avionics subsystems;
  • Analysis of system requirements and traceability with respect to software models;
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of MB processes and software development methodologies.

Technical skills required
:

  • Knowledge of C programming language;
  • Knowledge of Mathworks suite (e.g. System Composer, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coders, verification tools);
  • Mastery of software verification concepts (e.g. testing, analysis, review);

Nice to have
:

  • Mastery of high-criticality software development concepts (e.g. knowledge of RTCA/DO-178C) and Model Based (MB) methodologies;
  • Mastery of the concepts in RTCA/DO-331;
  • Knowledge of System Modelling Language (SysML);
  • Familiarity with requisitioning and behavioural modelling tools (e.g. CAMEO or similar);
  • Mastery of Design Assurance Level and partitioning concepts (IMA approach).

The profile is rounded off by an analytical approach and problem-solving skills, the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, proactivity and initiative, and effective time management skills.
