Job Description
Our HSE Site Manager actively encourages and leads the KVI and contractor teams to implement and comply with project HSE requirements. Tasks:

  • Develop, implement and update the Site HSE Management System in line with company, Italian and external certification requirements
  • Monitor compliance with legal requirements
  • Develop and apply hazard identification and risk assessment to reduce the risks to ALARP
  • Support Site Manager on the correct implementation of the Permit to Work system
  • Undertake incident investigation, reporting, internal inspections and audits of HSE standards on site
  • Ensure medical examinations (incl. drug and alcohol testing, etc.) of all staff is carried out as appropriate
  • Undertake site HSE inductions and provides regular HSE training / information for new employees

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience at site as HSE leader for Construction / Commissioning in large projects
  • Degree in HSE or Engineering or an internationally recognized HSE qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of Italian HSE regulations and best international practices
  • Fluency in Italian and in English
  • Communication, training and leadership skills
  • Sound knowledge of Management systems (ISO 45001, SCC, ISO Certification as an ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 auditor would be a plus
