We are looking for a brilliant Senior Buyer reporting to the Lead Buyer Indirect. The role is responsible for negotiating and purchasing of new assets, services and equipment ensuring the agreed technical specifications, budget requirements and delivery dates.

Job Description

Purchasing and Contract Management

Purchasing goods based on the company investments program and in agreement with the budget owner's department;

Working closely with finance, factory, production & IT depts. to ensure that the products are purchased respecting the technical requirements, timetable and containing costs;

Negotiating the terms of supply contracts, based on the asset type, including prices payment agreement, warranties and after sales conditions;

Entering into an a customized contracts.

Professional Conduct and Operational Flexibility

Always working in a professional manner regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department/team/sponsors;

Providing flexible attendance and attitude to work both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects.

Qualifications

Three to five years purchasing experience, preferably on indirect goods and services

Proficient with English, both written and spoken

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Good communication ability with the external suppliers

Resilience and ability to work under pressure

Solid decision making and negotiating skills

Team playing skills with a "can do" attitude
