Startup Analyst
As a Startup Analyst at Nana Bianca, you will support the Acceleration team in scouting, evaluating, and accompanying startups throughout our incubation and acceleration programs. You will be directly involved in business model analysis, performance monitoring, and supporting founders in their growth journey.
In addition, you will help coordinate acceleration programs from an operational and project management perspective.
Main Responsibilities
Scouting & Market Research
- Analyze market trends and identify emerging sectors with high growth potential
- Scout promising startups and evaluate their business model, traction, and team
- Map the Italian and European innovation ecosystem (incubators, accelerators, VC, business angels)
Program Support, Portfolio Monitoring & Project Management
- Track the progress of startups in our CRM and maintain updated records
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and KPI monitoring dashboards
- Assist with onboarding and follow-up of startups in incubation and acceleration programs
- Support the Acceleration Team Leader in planning and coordinating acceleration programs
- Help manage the application and selection process for new batches (screening, shortlisting, communication with candidates)
Community & Ecosystem Engagement
- Support the organization of workshops, demo days, and networking events
- Represent Nana Bianca at startup competitions, trade shows, and industry events
- Foster relationships with ecosystem players (investors, mentors, corporate partners)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Strong communication abilities (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with Google Workspace / MS Office and CRM tools
- Passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital business models
- Proactivity, curiosity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in startups, incubators, accelerators, or venture capital
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Business Model Canvas, Lean Startup, SWOT analysis
- Knowledge of startup funding mechanisms and venture capital fundamentals
- Interest in AI tools and vibe coding / no-code tools to enhance analysis and experimentation processes
