Job Description

As part of our ongoing transformation program and the continuous expansion of our
Customer Service team in Saronno
, we are currently looking for a
Technical
Customer Service Specialist
to support the operations of our leased freight wagon fleet, serving customers across Europe.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fleet, and contributing to the high-quality service standards for which
VTG
is known.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on collaboration, customer satisfaction, and technical excellence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers in daily operations and damaged wagon management (tank, standard, and intermodal wagons)
  • Manage fleet operations and monitor wagons undergoing maintenance
  • Create repair, transport, and parking orders
  • Identify and coordinate the most suitable maintenance solutions (stationary and/or mobile) within the VTG maintenance network, in close consultation with customers
  • Organize cleaning or transport services as required
  • Monitor costs and issue recharges
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and technical teams

Your Profile

  • Completed education in freight forwarding, logistics, engineering, or a technical field
  • Relevant professional experience in the industry or in a similar role
  • Strong customer orientation, analytical mindset, and persuasive communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills in
    English and Italian
    , plus one of the following languages:
    German or French
  • Proactive, flexible, and agile approach with the ability to work independently
  • Good proficiency in
    MS Excel
  • Precise and structured working style with strong coordination skills

Technical
Customer Service Specialist
che supporti le operazioni della nostra flotta di carri merci in leasing, servendo clienti in tutta Europa.

In questo ruolo contribuirai a garantire il funzionamento efficiente e affidabile della flotta, assicurando gli elevati standard di qualità e servizio che contraddistinguono

Responsabilità principali

  • Punto di riferimento principale per clienti e fornitori nelle attività operative quotidiane e nella gestione dei carri danneggiati (cisterne, carri standard e intermodali)
  • Gestione delle operazioni della flotta e monitorare i carri in manutenzione
  • Creazione di ordini di riparazione, trasporto e parcheggio
  • Identificare e coordinare le soluzioni di manutenzione più idonee (stazionarie e/o mobili) all'interno della rete di manutenzione VTG, in collaborazione con i clienti
  • Organizzare servizi di bonifica o trasporto quando necessario
  • Monitorare i costi ed emettere riaddebiti
  • Collaborare strettamente con i reparti interni e i team tecnici

Profilo ideale

  • Diploma o laurea in spedizioni, logistica, ingegneria o ambito tecnico
  • Esperienza professionale rilevante nel settore o in ruoli analoghi
  • Forte orientamento al cliente, capacità analitiche e ottime abilità comunicative
  • Ottima conoscenza dell'
    italiano e dell'inglese
    , oltre a una delle seguenti lingue:
    tedesco e/o francese
  • Mentalità proattiva e flessibile, con capacità di lavorare in autonomia
  • Buona conoscenza di
    MS Excel
  • Metodo di lavoro preciso, strutturato e ottime capacità organizzative
