Scope:

As Utilities Manager, you will drive the Utilities organisation ensuring the right function and reliability of Industrial and Pharma Plant and equipment, the respect of Compliance, Safety and Legislation within assigned budget.

In this role, furthermore, you will lead Utilities Master Planning Activities in line with Site strategic evolution and Energy Plan focusing on budget respect and environmental sustainability.

In this role you will:

Reports to Engineering Director and operates as detailed below:

  • Ensures that Utilities Performance Management fits with GPS standards so that utilities plants and equipment have an adequate technical oversight and a structured problem solving approach in order to minimize technical issues leading to production breakdowns;

  • Ensures maintenance status of Utilities plants and equipment in order to minimise EHS risks;

  • Guarantees an appropriate maintenance of Low and Medium Voltage Infrastructure;

  • Owns Hard Service Contract for Utilities maintenance activities;

  • Owns Utilities Operations cost centres;

  • Drives Plant Engineering operations to identify Capital Investments needed to maintain Assets value and ensure continuous improvement;

  • Is accountable to identify and manage risks related areas of ownership;

  • Is accountable of maintenance engineering, planning, data management and logistic ensuring a lean SAP infrastructure for maintenance processes;

  • Owns Maintenance Master Plan in order to ensure equipment reliability, compliance, safety, cost control and Site evolution support;

  • Ensures inspection readiness for areas of ownership;

  • Risk management: responsible for ensuring that Risk assessment, Risk communication and action planning are completed in accordance with our Risk Management System (RMS) within the relevant business area. Risks may be relevant to Business, Business continuity, Safety, People, Wellbeing, Compliance, Quality, Costs.

Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • University degree in Engineering;

  • Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience in a manufacturing environment;

  • Demonstrated capability and leadership to effectively manage a 24/7 shift facility team;

  • Experience in supplier management;

  • Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
