This is a 6-month paid internship with a 700€ monthly allowance, starting January 2026.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Legal Intern will join the Legal Ops Department, providing support in ensuring Launchmetrics' adherence to relevant laws and regulations and in identifying and mitigating risks. Key responsibilities include assisting with the creation of guidelines and policies related to local and international compliance, evaluating legal issues and risks, conducting legal research, drafting agreements, and offering practical legal guidance on various matters. This role offers valuable exposure to the diverse responsibilities of an in-house legal department.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with, and support, internal stakeholders (e.g Finance, Product, Marketing, and Sales department ) to ensure legal alignment with business initiatives;
  • Assist in maintaining and improving the Launchmetrics' privacy programme;
  • Support in drafting, review and negotiation of commercial contracts and various types of agreements (service agreement, NDAs, partnership agreement etc.);
  • Perform legal research and analysis and monitor amendments and updates to laws and regulations that may impact the activity of Launchmetrics ( e.g. EU AI Act, EU Data Act, CCPA etc.);
  • Assist with various administrative tasks of the Legal Ops Team; 
  • Cooperate with the Legal Ops Team on long-term projects as well as day-to-day business activities.

ABOUT YOU

  • Educational Background: Law Master's degree;

  • Experience: Previous work experience in either a law firm or a corporate role is desirable;

  • You are self-motivated, proactive, dynamic and results-oriented, with a strong sense of collaboration and ownership;

  • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;

  • You have strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and research skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear legal documents;

  • You are fluent in English. Other foreign languages are a plus;

  • You have curiosity and enthusiasm for innovation and new approaches.

Extra Credit:

  • Academic or professional experience outside of Italy;
  • Experience/knowledge in new technologies laws;
  • Jurisdiction knowledge of one or more European Union countries.
