Our client, a multinational company specialized in the
development of raw materials and ingredients
for the
cosmetic and personal care
industry, is looking for
an experienced Sales Manager with technical expertise in cosmetics formulation/ingredients

Reporting directly to the Sales Head of EMEA, the Sales Manager will
manage and develop the customer base in Northen Italy (direct accounts) and a selection of key foreign markets (distributors).

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow profitable sales by growing and developing an effective relationship with customers
  • Work closely with R&D and marketing to launch new products successfully
  • Track and report sales performance
  • Provide technical responses to distributors and end customers
  • Complete management of key accounts - including direct communication, commercial and technical handling.
  • Map customer needs and offer the right solution
  • Monitor and analyze competitors.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy or related field
  • 3-5 years minimum in sales of ingredients for cosmetics
  • Fluent English, native Italian
  • (Previous experience as a formulator or R&D researcher in the industry will be considered a plus)
