Bonfiglioli is a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and distributor of a complete range of gearmotors, drive systems, planetary gearboxes, and inverters, meeting the most challenging and demanding needs in industrial automation, mobile machinery, and renewable energy.

We are currently looking for a Commodity Buyer to join our team based in Forlì (FC).

MISSION

Implement the commodity strategy across all regions to support Business Unit targets in terms of competitiveness, time to market, new project development, and supply base growth and rationalization.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Coordinates a specific commodity of direct materials, defines the general management and sourcing strategies for her/his specific commodity;
• Manages the assigned Commodity gaining deep understanding of the supply market;
• Responsible for the negotiation process with Global/Strategic suppliers;
• Drives the Global sourcing activities managing and developing the relationships with global suppliers;
• Responsible for the Supply base optimization in terms of quality, efficiency and technology state of the art;
• Negotiate contracts and Supply agreements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (preferred) or in Economics;

• Strong leadership and effective communication skills;

• Proven negotiation skills;

• Fluent in English;

• Knowledge of German language is preferred;

• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately one week per month).
