Optima Solutions Logistics

Overview
The Optima Solutions Logistics & Controlling Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the support of materials supply to key automotive OEM sites, including all aspects of material planning to ensure continuous material availability to meet customer production requirements.

Role Description

• Works in a large process team, coordinating logistics and supply chain activities and working closely with other members of the paint shop service team
• Works with the customer to assess projected demand, long term forecasting and coordinates the material needs for all products supplied to the customer
• Assists in the coordination of the delivery of PPG products to the customer site
• Ensures that the customer is always able to fulfil their manufacturing plan with material on site
• Assists in the management of stock levels and ensures no build-up of obsolete material
• Assists in the coordination of material run-outs and organises new material introductions
• Assists in the analysis and reporting of monthly consumptions and cost per unit trends, actual vs planned usages, usage per model
• Understand the relationship of historical builds to future builds
• Assists in invoicing and the tracking of material invoicing

Specific Requirements Beyond Band Profile / Job Title Expectations

• Required travel: 0%
• Planning and scheduling experience including working knowledge of MRP/SAP/EDI systems
• Computer competency (High)
• Skilled at using BI tools
• Fluent in English
