Experienced Purchasing Consultant
, you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic value to our clients while contributing to the growth and success of Valuement.

Your missions

  • Develop and implement innovative purchasing strategies to optimize costs and drive value for clients.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of supplier markets and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and terms.
  • Evaluate and streamline procurement processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client objectives and needs.
  • Monitor and analyze purchasing KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver reports and presentations to clients, showcasing findings and actionable insights.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior consultants within the purchasing team.

Your profile

  • Expertise: Strong experience in strategic purchasing, supplier negotiations, and process optimization.
  • Academic background: Master's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Italian. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Soft skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, strong negotiation skills, and a proactive mindset.
  • Industry knowledge: Deep understanding of procurement processes and market trends.
  • Tools: Proficiency in procurement software and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a relevant consulting or purchasing role, ideally within a global environment.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
