About The Role
We are offering the opportunity to join our Italian Surety Team which is part of Surety EMEA as Surety Underwriter

Main tasks/activities

  • Develop the Italian Surety portfolio, assist existing and potential clients
  • Evaluate the incoming surety business on underwriting and credit risk side
  • Credit Analysis – perform and support all activities connected to the assignment and maintenance of clients internal rating and limits
  • Support Portfolio management on the Italian book
  • Entertain contacts with brokers and clients

About You

  • 3+ years of experience on the Italian surety market, underwriting medium and large corporates
  • Knowledge of surety risks, different type of bonds, main terms and conditions
  • Credit analysis – ability to understand, review and evaluate financials and creditworthiness of clients
  • Knowledge of Corporates and brokers world
  • Fluent Italian language (native) and good English proficiency are required
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Good negotiation and analytical skills
  • Team player, open-minded

For Italy, the base salary range for this position is between 50,000 EUR and EUR 84,000 for a full-time role.

The Specific Salary Offered Considers

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience. In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
