Quality & Metrology Laboratory Intern

We are looking for a candidate to join a structured 4–6 month internship within the Quality function, under the guidance of a company tutor.

Through Training And Close Collaboration, The Internship Aims To Develop An Operational Manual For The Management Of a Metrology Laboratory (ITA/ENG), Applicable Across Carel Group Companies. During The Internship, The Candidate Will Progressively Be Involved In The Following Activities

• Selection of the most suitable measuring instruments based on the type of measurement and component characteristics.
• Definition of calibration intervals and effective management of the metrology chain (primary standards, calibrations, verifications).
• Drafting structure and contents of calibration/usage procedures for each instrument and control methods by component category.
• Preparation, set-up, and verification of samples, including interpretation of technical drawings for measurement purposes.
• Documentation, storage, and statistical analysis of measurement data; updating and improvement of control methods over time.
• Evaluation of measurement uncertainty and identification of influencing variables.
• Alignment with applicable UNI EN ISO standards.
• Laboratory workload management and activity planning.
• Identification of critical codes for variable measurements and Go/No-Go (P/NP) checks.
• Verification of impacts and harmonization with other plants.

Requisiti

• Degree in Engineering/Currently studying Engineering
• Good knowledge of English
