Location: Remote (Europe) or in person in Milan

Type: Full-time

Language: English (Italian, German, Spanish, or French is a plus)

About Quotabus

Quotabus is a mobility-tech company redefining group transportation. We help bus companies scale their operations and travelers book their experiences seamlessly.

We're at an exciting early stage - piloting, learning, building - and we're looking for a Tech Co-Founder/ Software Developer to join us on the ride.

If you're passionate about technology, mobility, and creating real impact in a sector that's ripe for innovation, we'd love to hear from you.

Your role: Build the product from the ground up

As our Software Developer, you'll design, build, and launch our core product. You'll take on high ownership and autonomy, shaping our technical architecture, processes, and culture from the ground up.

What you'll do

Product Development

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy features across the stack (front-end and back-end).
  • Support integrations with third-party APIs and tools.
  • Build scalable, maintainable architecture for future growth.

Problem-Solving & Experimentation

  • Collaborate with the team to identify the best technical solutions to user problems.
  • Build MVPs and iterate rapidly based on feedback.

Collaboration & Growth

  • Work with founders on product decisions, priorities, and roadmap.
  • Help define our engineering culture and future hiring processes.

You will be a great fit if…

  • You're energized by the opportunity to set the technical vision and build from scratch
  • You're proactive, entrepreneurial, and love solving problems end-to-end.
  • You have experience with frameworks such as React, , and Typescript.
  • You think like an owner - structured, resourceful, and outcome-driven.
  • You speak fluent English (bonus if also Italian, French, Spanish, or German).
  • You thrive in an environment with high autonomy and responsibility.
  • You've already worked on a few projects - either privately or publicly shared - that showcase your abilities.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
  • Experience with Python for backend development and automation.
  • Exposure to mobility, marketplaces, SaaS, or operational tech products.
  • Experience with databases (e.g., SQL).

  • Technical Case: A short take-home exercise or live coding to see how you approach problems.
  • Final Interview: Deep dive into your experience, working style, technical knowledge, and how you would contribute to Quotabus.
