As Waste Water Treatment Plant Conductor, you will follows established procedures and guidelines by conducting the biological plant in Caronno Pertusella to ensure compliance with the limits set by the current Environmental permit.

Reporting to EHS Manager, you will:

 

  • Conducts, based on the directives received, the operation of the industrial waste water treatment plant in order to ensure compliance with the limits set by the current Environmental permit.
  • Collects and organizes data relating to the treatment plant, as well as maintain records of the interventions and operations.
  • Fills periodic reports about the status of the plant and the operating parameters, ensuring that the machines, and equipment are maintained efficient;
  • Management of chemical products (additives) and the small laboratory related to the plant, ensuring their availability and managing any purchase requests.
  • Defines and adopts the necessary measures in cases of emergency, stops and start-up, as well as the application of the provisions relating to Safety, Health and the Environment;
  • Identifies maintenance needs and verifies the correct execution of them, ensuring compliance with scheduled maintenance and sludge disposal;
  • Ensures the identification and proposal of corrective measures to be adopted to maintain the correct functioning of the system and the characteristics of the discharged water in line with the applicable legislation.
  • Collaborates in the identification of any plant interventions aimed at improving the efficiency of the plant.
  • Movement of chemical products and sludge relating to the wastewater treatment plant using a forklift;
  • Supports the EHS manager in supervising and conducting internal audits
  • Supports the EHS manager in the execution of the monitoring plan prescribed by the current permit
  • Supports the EHS manager in training workers by conducting safety meetings with workers and in general in spreading the culture of safety in the company.

 

Your professional profile includes:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the waste water treatment.
  • English spoken and written
  • Preferred experience in forklift operation.
  • Good skills in using a PC, preferably with MS Office products.
  • Team working oriented
  • Passion and flexibility in working
