Work Location: Rome (Laurentina area),
Office-based with one day per week at the client's site
.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end project management, including project planning, scheduling, budget control, KPI monitoring (Revenue / Order / Cost), and final delivery in line with timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints

• Overall project coordination, including customer relationship management and vendor/supplier interaction

• Analysis of customer network feasibility and design of IP network architectures to meet functional, capacity, and redundancy requirements

• Design of complex IP networks, including IPRAN (Mobile Transport), FMC (Fixed & Mobile Convergence), and BNG (Broadband Network Gateway) environments

• Design and validation of advanced IP solutions based on
  MPLS and L2VPN services
  , leveraging routing protocols such as
  BGP (mandatory), OSPF, and IS-IS

• Technical support during complex rollout and migration activities (new router integration, link swap, network expansion)

• Support to operational teams in defining new operational procedures, including MOPs, service expansions, and migration strategies

• Troubleshooting activities related to network design and system integration

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent technical background

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IP network projects
(design, deployment, or support) within large-scale service provider or enterprise environments

- Mandatory strong expertise in IP networking with a solid focus on BGP and MPLS technologies

• Experience with high-performance carrier-grade routing platforms used in large backbone and access networks

• In-depth knowledge of:

• L2VPN (VPLS, PWE3)

• L3VPN

• EVPN

• BRAS (PPPoE / IPoE)

-Experience in IP product commissioning, network migration, and service activation

• Autonomous working style, strong learning attitude, and ability to collaborate effectively within technical teams

• Availability for travel and occasional night shifts (up to 3 times per month) during mission-critical migration activities.
