PCQ supports the formulation and overall strategic orientation of CSPs. PCQ advises on the coherent application of the Strategic Plan and UNCT alignment at country level and channels coordinated advice to COs and RBx in this respect.
PCQ also manages and oversees the Programme Review and Approval Process (PRP) and manages the full System for Programme Approval (SPA Plus) and related procedures, including by maintaining CSP and BR timelines and programmes of work.
The Business Support Assistant will work with the SPA Plus administrator in daily activities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SPA Plus helpdesk technical support
Provide access to the SPA+
Update the SPA+ directory and PRP related mailing lists
Documents tracking Publish project documents/BRs on internal/external corporate platforms
Support managing the approval process of Corporate Trust Funds, Special Accounts, and Corridor Funds on SPA+.
Respond to routine queries received and escalate where appropriate.
Contribute to the review of written documents, as required
Provide a set of standard business support activities, where required.
Support the maintenance of office files, documents, and records in accordance with established systems and processes.
Undertake standard data entry tasks in accordance with defined systems, to ensure information is organized and readily available for the business team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Completion of secondary school education.
Experience: Three or more years of experience in general administrative work.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to use standard office equipment such as photocopiers and scanners.
Knowledge of standardised business support work routines and methods.
Knowledge of standard office software packages, e.g., Microsoft word.
Uses tact and courtesy to give and receive information with a variety of individuals.
Good attention to detail to identify data discrepancies.
Ability to work to deadlines and follow clear instructions.

Language: General Service (Headquarters): Fluency (level C) in English language. Fluency (level C) or intermediate knowledge (level B) of another official language may be required depending on the location of the post or area of responsibility.
General Service (Field): Fluency in both oral and written communication in the UN language in use at the duty station and in the duty station's language, if different.
