IT Senior Business Partner – Manufacturing

Role Purpose:

The IT & Digital Business Partner acts as the strategic interface between the Manufacturing & Installation functions and the IT organization, ensuring technology initiatives align with business priorities. This role drives digital transformation, optimizes operational processes, and supports the deployment of innovative solutions across plants and installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Engagement & Demand Management
  • Serve as the primary IT contact for Manufacturing & Installation stakeholders.
  • Capture, assess, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into actionable IT initiatives.
• Digital Transformation & Process Optimization
  • Identify opportunities for process digitalization and efficiency improvements leveraging SAP, MES, and emerging technologies.
  • Support implementation of solutions that enhance productivity and operational excellence.
• Project Leadership & Governance
  • Coordinate IT projects within Manufacturing & Installation scope, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with global standards.
  • Apply change management practices to harmonize solutions across plants and installation sites.
• Technology Roadmap & Innovation
  • Contribute to the definition of technology roadmaps for Manufacturing & Installation.
  • Promote adoption of best practices and group-wide digital platforms.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with plant managers, installation teams, and central IT to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes.
  • Act as a liaison for global initiatives such as Smart Factory and Data Platform.

Required Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of SAP and MES systems in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Industrial IT and IoT technology
• Understanding of imanufacturing and installation workflows and related digital tools.
• Ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with IT governance, change management, and digitalization best practices.
