To support the growth of its team, GOSPORT is currently seeking a
Data Curator
with at least
two years' experience
, who will contribute to the input, updating and management of data within the company's digital platforms.
What are we looking for:
The
Data Curator
is responsible for managing, structuring, maintaining and enhancing the quality of data used across the organisation in the fields of innovation, R&I, technology scouting, and EU/national funded projects.
The role collaborates closely with IT teams, funding specialists, project managers and business analysts to ensure that internal and external datasets are accurate, consistent, up to date and fully exploitable for advanced analysis, reporting, decision-making and the development of digital products.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Identify, analyse, curate, and maintain sources of information relating to public and private funding, collaboration opportunities within the open innovation paradigm, and projects funded at European and national level, evaluating their potential integration into company products and processes.
- Manage deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide feedback, advice and project updates to team members.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Update content, create informative descriptions where required, and perform accurate data entry into IT systems, including testing and analysis for specific sectors, groups of organisations or individual entities.
- Perform data curation activities for data re-analysis and data integration purposes.
- Develop internal and external documentation.
- Document data sources, processes and transformation rules to ensure full traceability.
Requirements
:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably including work with EU funding programmes (Horizon Europe, LIFE, Digital Europe, etc.) or national funding schemes.
- High school Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian; additional EU languages are considered an asset.
- Proven strong ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
