About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Front of House Manager to join our team at San Domenico Palace Taormina, a Four Seasons Hotel. Reporting directly to the Director of Rooms , you will oversee the Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Services, and Core Team , ensuring seamless guest experiences from reservation through arrival and throughout their stay. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of service, supporting team development, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

What You Will Do

• Lead and supervise daily operations of Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Services, and Core Team .

• Ensure smooth coordination between departments to deliver personalized guest experiences.

• • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.

• Train, coach, and mentor team members, conducting regular performance reviews and supporting career development.

• Monitor schedules and staffing levels to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence.

• Conduct daily inspections of Front of House areas to maintain Four Seasons standards.

• Support the Director of Rooms in achieving financial targets related to labor, supplies, and departmental expenses.

• Implement and maintain guest service programs that enhance loyalty and satisfaction.

• Act promptly and effectively in emergencies to ensure guest and employee safety.

What You Bring

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years ) in front of house, guest experience, hospitality operations or service leadership roles within luxury environments.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with guests and inspire service excellence in teams.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to managing guest expectations.

• Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams, with the ability to motivate, coach and drive high performance while maintaining a strong service culture.

• Fluent in English (Italian is a strong advantage).

Schedule & Hours

• This is a full-time seasonal position.

• The candidate must have a flexible schedule and work also on weekends and holidays.

• This position is based at San Domenico Palace, Taormina and the contract is seasonal.

• You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
