The role ensures global compliance of packaging food contact materials across Europe, Asia and the Americas, defining processes, policies and standards while supporting local teams in all regions.

Description

  • Implement the global FCM compliance framework (strategy, policies, procedures, systems) across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory updates in key countries across these three regions.
  • Assess impacts on packaging materials and define action plans aligned with regional requirements.
  • Coordinate testing protocols and evaluate laboratory results from internal and external labs worldwide.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain accurate technical documentation, including Declarations of Compliance (DoCs), across all regions.
  • Act as the main reference point for local packaging teams in Europe, Asia and the Americas, supporting training and capability‑building activities.
  • Manage relationships with external partners (testing laboratories, legislation monitoring services, training providers) across global markets.

Profile

  • Scientific degree (Food Science, Chemistry, Material Science, Biology/Biotech, Toxicology or similar).
  • 8+ years' experience in FCM compliance within international environments; at least 3 years in the Food Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food contact regulations, testing methodologies and documentation.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, solid organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, communicate complex topics clearly, and work in multicultural fast-paced contexts.
