As Advanced Program Manager you will be responsible for managing PW programs.
You will possess comprehensive knowledge of financial and business concepts, contract management, best practices, processes, and procedures.
You will collaborate across company functions to meet and exceed customer expectations while driving business profitability through operational excellence, leveraging lean principles and risk management strategies.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing Risk & Revenues Programs and or Vendor program, ensuring milestones are met in terms of timing, financials, and quality, while utilizing all applicable project methodologies and standard work practices.
- Achieve company economic, financial, and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including initiatives for margin expansion.
- Liaise with Finance, Material Planning and Program Management and Operations teams to set the strategy to meeting inventory target.
- Manage all the relevant program KPIs, profitability metrics, invoicing processes, contract payment milestones, cash collection and overdue accounts, warranty/penalty determination and administration.
- Lead the cross-functional Program Team (ENG, Operations, Quality, etc.) across Avio Aero plants.
- Establish and nurture long-lasting customer relationships, enhancing satisfaction on current programs and identifying opportunities for new initiatives.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and oversee the execution of mitigation activities to address key risks.
- Accountable for Program Profitability initiatives by working closely with the involved teams to achieve assigned targets and sharing progress updates with Senior Leadership.
- Execute phase-and-gate methodology for NPI, driving and supervising cost-out initiatives.
- Update, review, and maintain business plans; provide timely internal reporting in accordance with defined standards, and continually review processes to ensure overall efficiency.
- Leverage the "FLIGHT DECK" lean approach in process management to maximize execution quality.
- Act as Change Manager during the incorporation of new modifications, ensuring alignment with timelines, costs, and customer needs.
- Support Program Control Board preparation as needed across all company levels, including Senior Leadership.
- Monitor and report program performance, on consignment stock and achieve the assigned budget while developing a risk-based approach to supply chain issues.
- Accountable for the long-term strategic improvement initiatives between P&W and Avio Aero.
Qualifications/Requirements
- STEM Master's Degree from an accredited university.
- Solid experience in management of complex projects in a structured company.
- Good risks management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead across functional and customer/supplier teams, both on-site and remotely.
- Strong communication skills with all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including top management.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team/organization.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and expertise in risk management.
- Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English.
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required.
