We are looking for a Customer Service Booking

Key tasks and responsibilities

● Update all booking orders in the system

● Collect relevant customers data and apply for new cucc if needed

● Collect relevant supporting documents (multimodal, lashing certificate, etc.), when required, from the customer

● Release containers to customer for merchant haulage based on the logistics instructions and accurate stock

● Update details for carrier haulage in the booking system

● Freight all booking orders at the time of the booking input

● Follow up of vessels allocation and situation and send a daily report to the head of booking department

● Send booking confirmation feedback to customers for each booking, according to the company's procedures

● Update containers details and relevant, updated unit information in the booking

● Send the pre-advise message to the terminal to authorize the gate-in of the full container to the terminal

● Send the loading list to the terminal both by e-mail and EDI

● Update customer with all changes occurred after booking confirmation (including delays, shortshipped, change of rotation, etc

● Verify, after sailing, that all units were loaded o/b the vessel and update the documentation staff accordingly

● Handle short shipped (or over), if any, according to the company policy

● Perform freight correctors in case justified according to the company policy

● File all commercial documents related to the booking according to the company's procedures and local regulations

● Assist to promote usage of e-commerce and automatic freighting (Quotation module

● Promote usage of automatic freighting through quotation module

● Follow up on all bookings till vessel sailing

● Support customers with cargo status till the shipment is released

● Follow up containers without movement over 14 day with customers for export

● Strive for continual improvement of customer service level

Requirements

Professional and personal skills

● High level of customer service orientation

● Ability to work under pressure

● Basic experience and knowledge in shipping

● High level of human relations with colleagues

● Ability to work in a team and to be a part of it

● Languages: English (Scale 1 – 7)*:
