We are looking for a Scientific Data Analyst to work in the IDATA Unit.

The interim will:
- Coordinate the management and updating of the EFSA European food consumption database;
- Monitor ongoing procurement and grant projects aiming at populating it with new data;
- Support the creation of an open access food composition database;
- Coordinate the timely execution of FoodEx2 activities;
- Support the organisation of the Food Consumption network.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level);
- Previous experience in food consumption data collection and management;
- Previous experience in food composition data collection and management;
- Excellent knowledge of IT tools and data analysis tools;
- Knowledge the FoodEx2 classification system would be considered an asset;
- Behavioural competencies: ability to work with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results.
Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months.
Salary: approx. € 3702 per month before taxes.
Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possiblewithin 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.
