Your Responsibilities

  • Translate product and process requirements into clear equipment specifications
  • Develop scalable automation and packaging concepts in collaboration with process engineers, product developers, and operations
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications and RFQs for new machinery and automation systems
  • Define functional, safety, and interface requirements (e.g., MES, traceability, safety standards)
  • Lead equipment projects from concept through commissioning (budget, schedule, quality)
  • Validate equipment performance against defined KPIs and quality requirements
  • Monitor equipment performance and initiate upgrades or process optimizations

Your Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional experience in equipment planning preferably in assembly automation or packaging
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methods and tools (including 8D, process acceptance, statistical process control)
  • Experience with technical specifications, equipment procurement, and supplier management
  • Familiarity with standards such as CE marking, machinery directive, ISO 12100
  • Knowledge of industrial interfaces and systems (MES, SCADA, traceability, OPC-UA)
  • Excellent knowledge of English, Italian and/or German as an advantage
