Your role

Are you ambitious, motivated and eager to learn all about investing in Direct Real Estate? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

The resource will be focused on Italian and European markets, with the purpose to support Asset Management activities for Direct Real Estate investments.

• Support the daily management and oversight of the Direct Real Estate Investments of UBS funds and mandates
• Support the assessment of investment opportunities, business plan review and H/S analysis
• Business plan implementation, including leasing, CapEX strategies
• Assist the coordination and supervision of audit and administrative processes;
• Data analysis including market research, reporting, presentations and cash-flow modelling

Your team

You'll join UBS Asset Management, namely the Global Real Assets Italian team, located in Milan. Through the practice of a great variety of capabilities you'll be helping to manage large-scale Real Estate investments, including a diversified portfolio across main European markets. You'll be part of one of the largest real estate investment managers in the world, one of the leading fund houses in Europe.

Your expertise

We're looking for a candidate who:

• Final year of their degree, or recently graduated (no more than six months from the start of the internship)
• has or is on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree
• Financial Real Estate educational background, with excellent grades
• ideally has prior experience in the real estate industry
• has solid analytical and organizational skills
• is proactive and team worker attitude
• has excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel especially), Python is a plus
• is fluent English and Italian

Your program

This paid internship will last 3 to 6 months, where you'll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You'll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
